Make sure that you are prepared to this commitment before going through with it.

Also, in order to keep your child socially active, you should think about enrolling them in some sort of recreational activity within your town. This will allow them to get out of the house and interact with children their own age. This is an extremely important thing to do when considering home school as an option.
